Submission declined on 24 August 2024 by KylieTastic (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

Jasper Griepink (also working as Venus Jasper) is a Dutch queer artist, performer, and educator known for his multidisciplinary work that explores themes related to ecology, spirituality, and community[1]. They often blend elements of performance, installation, and participatory art to create experiences that invite audiences to reflect on their connection to nature, the environment, and the sacred. His practice engages with alternative forms of living and sustainable practices, often challenging conventional narratives around these themes.
Griepink's work frequently involves rituals, storytelling, and the creation of spaces that evoke a sense of healing and connection with the earth. He has participated in various exhibitions and residencies, both in the Netherlands and internationally, and has collaborated with different communities and organizations. Highlights are their large solo exhibition EARTHSHRINE at MU Hybrid Art House Eindhoven, Netherlands (2022), and the performance OAKBaLLZ and EELSKin at the Earth Bonds Symposium at Rupert, Lithuania (2023).[2]
Overall, Jasper Griepink's work aims to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of our relationship with the natural world and ourselves, often through immersive and experiential artistic interventions.
Jasper Griepink holds an MFA from the Piet Zwart Institute Rotterdam (2013) and is trained in Permaculture Design, Reiki, Somatic Psychotherapy, Speculative Writing, and Music Production.
